Currently, public comments are not enabled on course pages. If, in the future, we open comments on our blog or site, any data provided (including the data shown in the comments form, and also your IP address and browser user agent string) will be used for spam detection and may be checked through an automated detection service. If you use Gravatar, an anonymized string created from your email address (a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar privacy policy is available at: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval, your profile picture would be publicly visible in the context of your comment.
We do not currently allow users to upload files to the site directly. If in the future you are invited to upload images or media through your account, please avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the website may be able to download and extract any location data from images on the website.
When you log in, we will set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days and screen options cookies last for one year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These external websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction if you are logged in to that website.

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email for security reasons.
If you create an account, we retain your profile data and learning progress indefinitely unless you request deletion. For users that register, we also store the personal information provided in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
If comments are added in the future, they and their metadata will be retained indefinitely.
If you have an account, you can request to receive an exported file of your personal data, including any data you have provided. You can also request erasure of your personal data. This does not include data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
